Living Sattva Overview
Living Sattva is about choosing self-healing and inner transformation. It is a way of being in the world that says “Yes!” to that which nourishes us, benefits others and the planet and supports our primary purpose as human beings of awakening (and staying awake!) for the benefit of all sentient beings. Living Sattva is about identifying with our basic goodness, our inner light, and then acting from this more luminous perspective.
Living Sattva can only ever happen in the present moment… in the Now. Through our presence we heal ourselves and the world. Living Sattva infuses our doing with Being…. it spiritually charges our thoughts, speech and actions. It empowers us.
Our yoga and other mindfulness practices, diet, lifestyle, work, natural therapies, relationships, and thinking can either move us into the flow of sattva — creating more balance, health and happiness — or against the flow of sattva — causing more dis-ease and suffering. The foundation for this holistic path is the practice of ethical precepts, which inspires mindfulness, compassion and wisdom in daily life.
